It’s a good day. A very good day. I know it’s been a minute since we’ve chatted—that’s on me.

This guy.
He’s the current character invading my brain, poking at me to get his story told. Last night, at 7:53 p.m., I finished the rough draft of his story. I wrote 37,000 words in three days. (That’s 148 pages) My brain is all things JACK and his lady love, HARPER, who will kick off my next big family series. (I know—a family series? Big shocker there. But trust me—this one’s a little different. 
)
Until then, I need to get Jack off my mind.
I probably should put my brain on cleaning my house. Making a real meal. Feeding the dogs (just kidding…I promise I feed them!). Writing to you.
Oh yeah, and acknowledging that I’m still married (yay!). My husband calls himself the book bachelor when I’m writing because yeeeessss, I might have a hard time yanking myself away from the story. Some might call that ADD.
I call it: Please Stop Labelling Me and Send Me Some Food!
Anyhoo, this is why Hubs works hard to find us fun things to do while I’m NOT writing. Which is why we travel to fun places.
