A quick getaway, a sale and a fun book rec!

Rel Mollet Books, Family

It’s been a wild week so far, so let me catch you up!

Over the weekend, I finished grouting my tile.

It was sort of like a cool art project. I am no longer afraid of tile. See what happens when you build up something in your brain, only to discover it’s not a big deal? Bam. I now want to tile everything.

Oh, wait—what? That’s not the fun stuff you were thinking of…

Oh, you meant THIS fun stuff.

The release of FLASHPOINTYes- that’s right! The uber fun story of a Hollywood heartthrob who meets a female firefighter with a SECRET released Tuesday! Of course, she has to protect him. And she may or may not have a giant crush on him. And there are bad guys in the woods, and a few walk-ons from previous characters.

Thank you to everyone who read the book when it came out in the Sunrise Publishing Shop and said such nice things.

I think you’ll not only love this book, but the entire amazing series!

In other news, I finished the rough draft of my current WIP and celebrated by hopping on a plane. We left these scoundrels behind…

…and headed to the Big Apple for a weekend getaway. On the agenda: Dinner at Sardis, Ellis Island (I can’t believe I’ve never been to the Statue of Liberty before!), Katz Deli, The Lion King on Broadway, and a stroll through Central Park, hopefully NOT in the rain.

In the meantime, I didn’t want to leave YOU without a getaway!

One of my favorite trilogies I’ve ever written is the Epic Story of RJ and York. Even if you have no idea who I’m talking about…

(and egads, please tell me that’s not true! Find book 1, Knox, in the Montana Marshalls series here, and let’s get that sorted!)

…I think you’ll love this fun adventure through Europe with RJ and York. (You’ll hit up Paris, Tuscany, Sicily, Prague, Berlin and finally a fun fictional country called Lauchtenland!)

And you’ll meet Winchester Marshall, who just happens to also be in Flashpoint!

It’s such a fun series, and a great way to get away to some beautiful places. And, the SUPER fun part is that the audiobook is narrated by the uber-talented Adam Gold. Oh, he makes York’s voice just turn me to butter.

Anyhooo—right now, the epic series is 30% off for each bundle in the SMWF Store ONLY:

P.S. Want to know what I’m reading on MY vacay…?

Have you met my friend Robin Patchen? She’s a clean, fast-paced, inspirational romantic suspense author that writes epic international stories about a family of heroes.

I know, I know…sounds familiar. Her newest story came out this weekend…

Don’t miss this race-against-the-clock story of suspense and intrigue from a USA Today bestselling author.

One obscure Babylonian artifact in the hands of terrorists could bring down an entire city…

When antiquities professor Bryan Wright is tasked with discovering why a band of terrorists might target a museum in Munich, he teams up with the museum’s attractive exhibit designer to study their ancient artifacts. Something in this collection holds special value to the terrorists, and Bryan must figure out which item and why—before enemies get their hands on it.

An American living in Munich, Sophie Chapman wouldn’t have expected to be attracted to a musty old antiquities professor—but this guy is neither musty nor old. Even so, she’s not ready for a new boyfriend, considering she hasn’t figured out how to get rid of the old one. When her apartment is broken into, she has bigger worries than the ex who won’t leave her alone.

The seemingly random break-in is anything but. Terrorists are closing in, and their plot will destroy more than the romance growing between Bryan and Sophie.

It’ll destroy everything they hold dear.

Terrorism, romance, and a 20-year-old mystery with shades of Raiders of the Lost Arc thrown in. The stakes couldn’t be higher as evil men plot to take down their enemies—and any innocent civilians who get in their way. And that’s just one part of their plan.
