We returned home from our epic five day drive from Florida yesterday. Twenty-six hours. TWENTY audio book chapters of Brandon Sanderson’s Oathbringers. 4 nutty bars, a bag of Cheetos and McDonalds… (I don’t know why I eat like a teenager when I travel. It’s like a Pavlovian response. I get in the car and think…road trip!
Just in Time–beach read books
Just a quick note, because I’m in the middle of packing to travel back north, (more on that next week!!) but I didn’t want you miss Your Last Chance to get the Preorder price for the newest Deep Haven book. (I just LOVE the cover!)
It hits the stands tonight at midnight!
Wait, is that the sun?
I know, I know–long time no hear. I’ve been head down, working on a story! (Oh, I can’t wait to tell you ALLL about it—it features one of the Kingston brothers from Alaska. His name is Ranger, and he’s all cool headed and serious until the woman he loves goes missing…more on that later!)
But,
Great Scott!! One more day!
Tomorrow releases the next installment of The True Lies of Rembrandt Stone.
Tomorrow!
I’m so excited! (Here’s me out with my hubby in his own time machine–a 1978 Alfa Romeo Spider!)

Just a quick shout from the beach!
Just to be clear, this isn’t me.

This, however, IS me.
On the beach.
I’m missing something. And no, it’s not sunscreen. It’s a NOVEL. Yep, I made the mistake of going to the beach without anything to read.
Shoppin’ til I’m droppin’!

Are you thinking the same thing?
I dunno about you, but it’s nearly three weeks into 2021 and already I need a little time out. With Christmas, my dear Mother-in-law’s home going, too much travel, and the news (don’t get me started!)…I’m ready to escape to someplace happy.
A place like (you guessed it) Deep Haven. “Where all the women are strong,
