Imma be honest.
It just doesn’t feel right for the world to keep plodding on with so much suffering going on right now. Terrible flooding, loss of life in the south, after Hurricane Helene. Our troops deploying to the Middle East (not to mention the suffering there, and in other countries).
Anyway,
I’m about ready to dive into edits for my third Alaska Air One Rescue book. It’s a fantastic story about the chopper pilot for AAOR (Moose) and a special someone who needs his help.
But before we get into that, I have some big news… The Queen of Ankeny paid me a visit this week.
I am about twenty pages from the end of my book, right in the middle of the thrilling ending, but I wanted to hit pause to say thank you to everyone who has picked up CREED this week from the Susan May Warren Fiction store! It’s the middle of July already, isn’t it? I’m going to do something unusual in this little post and that is recommend something that has impacted my life recently. I did that a few months ago with The Chosen. And today I’m doing it with the new movie The Sound of Freedom.

As a writer, the days already blur a little, especially when I’m deep in writing a book. But this has certainly been different.
There are other beings in my place of work,

For most of my high school career, I worked at Dayton’s Department store, in the accessories department (hence, probably why I love hats, gloves, scarves, all those little essentials that make an outfit complete. Stacy, you can call me anytime if you’re looking for assistance.) I loved working there, helping people find just the right gift or accessory.
