It’s finished!!

This is today’s view. I know you’re thinking…snow? But what I see are WINDOWS. And light. And occasionally ducks and geese. But most of all…a long-awaited dream nearly finished.

I don’t know what you’re up to, but around here I’m up to my ears in sheetrock dust! Which means that we are NEARLY done with my office addition. I’m SO EXCITED. Here are a few pix of the progress…

So, we’ve been on a sort of adventure the past three weeks:
During the adventure of unpacking and painting my bedroom and bathroom, I got on Zoom and did an interview with a life coach for her upcoming Women of Unique Beauty summit.

As a writer, the days already blur a little, especially when I’m deep in writing a book. But this has certainly been different.
There are other beings in my place of work,
I wanted to say hi and make sure you were surviving winter!
I’ve been busy the last couple months. Went to Arizona to work on a project, then to Florida for my birthday, then to Austin for a business meeting and then up north with friends to say goodbye to the writing cabin.

But oh, what a fun season we had! All the kiddos home, and one even brought his beautiful fiancee!

I suppose the problem is that last week I was in…Hawaii! Hubs and I sneaked away for a very needed brain break to do some scuba diving, sailing and island exploring with my brother and his wife.
We had a blast.
