It finally stopped raining in Minnesota, and today I looked up from my computer to see this:
I thought I’d share the sunshine with you. I’m not sure how long it will last.
I’ve been head down working hard on another story this week –mostly because hubs and I escaping next Friday for an Epic Anniversary Trip to Spain and Portugal.
I hope you had a fantastic Independence Day! Up here in beautiful Minnesota, it rained. And rained. And rained. Yes, yes, Jubal, I am. But Mom is busy laying on the sofa after an exhausting twenty-three hour drive home from Florida over the weekend.

Yes, but you slept the whole way,
I have been furiously writing this week—working on my new series. (Oh, you’re going to love this amazing family…think: a mix of Marshalls and Christiansens, with a hint of the Montana Rescue team thrown in!) I’m pounding out words because next week, my kids arrive to escape to the beach for a week of relaxation and fun.Read More

Over the weekend, I finished grouting my tile.
It was sort of like a cool art project. I am no longer afraid of tile. See what happens when you build up something in your brain, only to discover it’s not a big deal?
Happy glorious Friday! I made it through another 120 pages this week…only to stare at the last blank chapter. How does this thing end????
