Happy Friday! I wrote 120 pages this week, got my characters through an Alaskan blizzard, dropped a few juicy truthlets, had them meet a few old friends (I love that part—suddenly a character appears that totally makes sense, but we’ve completely forgotten until now), gave them a great kiss, and now brought them to the precipice of danger…
And there they are going to sit until next week.
Hello from the boat! We got Big Red working this weekend, and took her out for a fun maiden voyage.
Actually, that’s a lie. My husband took her out for a maiden voyage in February.
And nearly sank the poor girl.
It wasn’t his fault. Really. Apparently some plug inside the boat broke loose on the long ride home from the previous owner,

However, I woke up today and thought…What? I missed ANOTHER Tuesday? (In my defense, I did manage to hit the last two Tuesdays, but things are falling apart quickly without my assistant! She comes back in two weeks, so we’re hangin’ on by our tootsies,
Just dropping a quick post today—I’m spending time with five brilliant authors this week whom I affectionately call “The Minds.” It’s a group of super brilliant women. (I’m still trying to figure out why I’m included… Oh, wait, I remember now. It’s because I’m in Florida and I feed them. Just kidding—they cook too! )

I can’t believe it. Not only is it 70° out in Florida, but I managed to get another note out on Tuesday! (You have no idea what a feat this is for me, as my VA is still on maternity leave, and I am NOT TECHNICALLY SAVVY). IYKYK. (Ahem, last week’s free book email.) Anyway,
I’m about ready to dive into edits for my third Alaska Air One Rescue book. It’s a fantastic story about the chopper pilot for AAOR (Moose) and a special someone who needs his help.
But before we get into that, I have some big news… The Queen of Ankeny paid me a visit this week.
First off, I just have to say, I know it’s Wednesday. And last week, I said I was going to send out newsletters on Tuesday. Well, that’s proving to be a little bit harder than I expected because… Let me introduce you to my sweet new granddaughter!
She was born on Jan 25th,
