What. A. CRAZY. Week!
Are you still scrambling with the New School Year adjustments? Admittedly, no kids here, but my September is NUTS! I’m up early today, headed to the airport, on my way to Florida for a quick trip to do some remodeling on the house, and attend the annual NINC (Novelist,
Can’t believe the month of August is over! What. Happened? Although in MN, we have One more Epic Weekend before the school year starts, in IOWA, where Bubby lives, her school started two weeks ago.
So we had one last week of Summer Fun at MayMay’s house. We went to the zoo, the park,
How is your summer going? Going anywhere fun on vacation?
Personally, I can’t believe our epic trip to Europe is almost over! We started on May 13th in Paris, travelled France, flew to Sicily, Italy to hang out with our new grandson and his parents, and then continued the fun with a tour of the island.

We may have built a huge patio and painted our entire house for the party,
You might not know this about me, (or maybe you do), but I’m a total addict of Secret Super Heroes. Like Superman, Batman and the Green Arrow. Give me a masked man…
What I love is their balance between regular guy and masked crusader, and the struggle to keep that secret.
I’d like to think I have my own secret identity.
We returned home from our epic five day drive from Florida yesterday. Twenty-six hours. TWENTY audio book chapters of Brandon Sanderson’s Oathbringers. 4 nutty bars, a bag of Cheetos and McDonalds… (I don’t know why I eat like a teenager when I travel. It’s like a Pavlovian response. I get in the car and think…road trip!
