So…today is my birthday. I am a little strange. I like to look back on my year and see what God has done, and pray over my next year and ask for guidance, and impact and the ability to bless others.
The past couple weeks, I’ve been reading a great book about how to create a financial legacy for my family.

I can not believe that I’ve hit my 100th book. And it all started with this one…
My hubby gave me this watch 20 years ago when my first book came out.
We survived the north.

And now we’re baaaaack!
This is the sunset that greeted us as we headed back to Florida.
The countdown has begun.
On Friday…they arrive.

Because Saturday the Epic Tree Hunt commences.
Every year we trek out into the forest (or nearby tree farm) and cut down the biggest tree in the woods (or one that fits in our house) and commence the Tree Decorating Wars where everyone vies for the perfect branch.
How was your Thanksgiving? Hubs and I had a great day with our Florida kiddos, enjoying the sunshine and eating turkey.

Admittedly, I’m loving Florida right now.
Never fear—we’re heading back to Minnesota for a white Christmas.

Whew, what a whirlwind these past few days have been! I looked at my schedule on Tuesday and realized I only have ONE week to write my current book. Eeek! So, I sat down, hashed out the plot, and started writing! And while I didn’t finish the entire book in 48 hours like I planned,

This is what happens when you go to NYC for four days and have to see EVERYTHING (or when you are married to Mr. Warren, who likes to get his money’s worth).

My house is quiet once again. Alas, all my people have gone back north, which means that in the silence, my characters have started to chatter, getting ready to throw themselves out of my brain/heart and onto the page.
