It’s another beautiful Friday night but our summers are ending fast, aren’t they? Hubs and I took a quick trip down to Florida this past week to help our son Noah pack up and head off to… Kazakhstan! He’ll be spending a year there teaching English at a local college and we’re so excited for him. Here’s us saying goodbye…
And here is a picture of where he’s at now…
I love the advent of fall, because I spend a lot of time under a blanket typing out great stories. There’s just something about sitting in front of a crackling fire dreaming up a beautiful story.
Just finished book one in a brand new Alaska Rescue series. I cannot wait to tell you all about this amazing series but I thought I’d give you a snapshot of my brainstorming process.
I’m about to dive into book #2, and then I’m going to write a shorter book for a summer wildfire series and THEN…THEN…I have room for SOMETHING FUN.
What fun, you ask?
Last year I put out a novella called the Homecoming of Logan Thorne. This year we’re producing the audio book for it and it’s so fantastic. But I thought it would be fun to give you something new and fresh for Christmas, a story about characters you’ve already met. So I’m going to let you choose!
I’m not saying that for sure this will happen but if I possibly can, I’ll write a book about one of the following:
- Ford and Scarlett and their epic elopement and honeymoon
- Iris and Hudson and their epic elopement and honeymoon
- Jonas and Sibba and their current life (may include a wedding?)
- Fraser and Pippa…and a catch up (that could include something in Lauchtenland)
The story will take place around Christmas, with a hint of suspense, adventure, and some fun romance. And, it will be less than 200 pages. So a short and sweet, but fun Christmas read.
Now…the question is…WHICH ONE would you like to read?
We have a VOTING form…and everyone who votes will be put into a drawing for a $20 gift card from Amazon. 😀
I’ll announce the winner—and the story next week (and we might have other fun questions)!
Thank you to everyone who have said such nice things about IRIS! She’s been the best-selling MN Marshalls story so far. Imma going to have to blame Hud. 😆
Don’t forget the epic Montana Fire series sale! All the ebooks and audio books are 50% off when you purchase the whole series—only until the end of August!
We’re off to a wine tasting and dinner with friends this weekend. Gotta enjoy those last few warm nights under the stars. Have a beautiful weekend!
P.S. If you’re a fan of Lisa Phillips’s Last Chance County series, I want to alert you to a fantastic new book available right now in the Sunrise Publishing Shop!
