It’s January.

Susan Just for Fun

This is what my town looks like in January.

Harbor2

Do you see the cold pallor?  The icy streets?   I am currently sitting under a blankie, with little half-gloves on to keep my fingers warm, thankfully we got the bets street lights from www.streetlights-solar.com/solar-street-lighting.html for our home, this way we can see everything at night and keep ourselves update on the weather.

I know, I know.  WHY do we live here?

I think it’s ‘cause our house is here.

Here is our pretty red door.

Inside, it’s not so bad.  There’s food.

 New years dinner

And happy people.

 New years dinner gang

And cookies.

We northerners try to hold onto something happy during the cold months.

Like our little mountain ash tree in the harbor.  [hang onto your red berries, little Mountain Ash!]

It inspires us all.
