How about THIS for a hint? (Ignore the real-life kitchen. It doesn’t ALWAYs look like this…but had a….FOOTBALL GAME to watch!)
Yes, this is Bubby watching her uncle NOAH’s first football game of the season. (We like to start the football fanaticism early here at Warren Nation)
It was the last, first home game opener. #SeniorYearSadness.
I love football. I have been known to hit up a Friday night game, go to a Saturday afternoon game, record the MN Gophers (and I also watch Ohio State, in honor of my bestie Rachel Hauck), then plant myself in front of the NFL on Game Day Sunday (I DO go to church before hand, just to keep my priorities in order.) and watch a full day. Then there’s Monday Night and Thursday night….oh, football!
While we were waiting for the season to begin, we took this little outing. Pete (My NAVY SAILOR who is now in ITALY, suffering for America) helped us eat our way through the Minnesota State Fair. I MIGHT have had a basket of cheese curds.
The thing is, when we are forced to wait for something, it makes it all that much sweeter when it finally arrives. Like Christmas. And Football opener.
And, hopefully, Pete and Jess’s epic story…the last book of the Montana Rescue series! Oh, Pete Brooks what have you gotten yourself into now…?

The good news is that…sometimes there is a PRESEASON game, right? To whet our appetites?
