| I woke up to 45 degree weather all week. My fingers were too cold to write a newsletter on Tuesday. (Okay, that’s not true. I was working on a story…and was so sucked into it I looked up and it was Friday!)
I realize the 45 degrees is not a hardship. In fact, it gave me a chance to wear my wool socks and fire up my cute little fake fireplace while I write today.
But it did make me nostalgic for this…
My backyard, once upon a time, in the quiet snow-laden forest of the north woods. Maybe because I’m writing a story right now that takes place in snowy mountains, lush with evergreen in a fictional European royal country. But we’ll get back to that…in about 6 months. For now, the current “snowy” book is Conrad, a story about a Blue Ox hockey player who gets himself in over his head when he accept a date with mystery podcaster Penelope Pepper. I’m so grateful for the early reviews! I’m loving this one:
