I’ve been working on a big project (NOT the MN Kingstons, although that’s exciting! What—you haven’t heard about the Kingstons? Stay tuned for the P.S. – we’ll fix that!)
No…this big project is a rebirth of one of my favorite series.
Long ago, in another decade, at the beginning when I lived in Russia, I wrote a James Michener length TOME. Huge book, four generations, spanning the time between the Bolshevik Revolution and the current age.
It was a big book. Lots of epic moments. Adventure, mystery, intrigue, romance. It had royals, revolutionaries, and spies.
And weighed about 1,287 tons.
So. I broke it into four pieces, rewrote it (and had the brilliant Susan K. Downs edit it!) and published it as the Heirs of Anton. Meant to be a reverse chronology, I wrote it so readers could start in the present, and read to the past. (Or, the traditional way, if they wanted. Not going to pin anyone down!) It’s the epic story of what happens when God has a plan for your family, your legacy.
I love this series. I love Ekaterina, who goes to Russia in search of her family roots. And Nadia, who refuses to let her spy husband die in gulag, and Marina, a world war 2 partisan, fighting for the freedom of her unborn child, and Oksana, who trusts her future to a quiet but courageous Mennonite man.
So, we retitled and recovered these beautiful books, and today they are exclusively available on the Susan May Warren store! (They’ll launch in Amazon next week.)

While we are in Florida, instead of Friday nights with the friends, Hubs and I are taking long walks on the beach and praying for world peace.
