It’s Sarah again, tuning in to give you the recap on Susie’s fabulous Spain adventure!
Days 1 and 2:
Susie and Andrew arrived in Barcelona. They tooled around the city in a Tuk Tuk, visiting places like the La Familia Sagrada, the Gothic quarter, and even the Olympic Village (very fitting for the week leading into the 2024 Olympics—which I’m probably too excited about).
Day 3:
Susie and Andrew visited Montserrat Monastery and followed that up with a nice wine tasting down at Panedes valley winery. (Nothing like a little wine to follow up a nice tour through a church!)
Day 4:
Susie and Andrew popped over to Lisbon for some more sightseeing. Took a nap. And then ended the trip with a fancy dinner during which the waitress said, “what’s life without a little bit of fear?” in regards to the exotic food. They had gooseneck barnacles, fresh raw tuna, goat, and mercifully, apple crème brûlée.
Oh, and they had this adorable little box of sweets that I’m for sure not jealous of. I mean…why would I be jealous?
She signed off last night with the view from their hotel in Lisbon.
So, needless to say, I think she and Andrew are having tons of fun and I’m sure she’ll tell you lots about it when she gets back! For now, I leave you with this reminder that One Last Promise comes out on Amazon on 8/6, so grab it now while the preorder price is still available! (Or get it now from the Susan May Warren Store or any of your favorite retailers.)
And if you’ve already read it and you’re ready for the next one, maybe it’s time to start preordering the final book in the series:
Alright, time to get back to what Joni and Bruni and I have been doing all week:
Just hangin’ around!
Till next week,
