I met Siri this summer at the Christy Awards in Denver, Colorado. Cute, with a great sense of fashion, Siri was a contender in my category for Romance novel, with her book Chateau of Echoes. Personally, her book was my favorite Uk Contact Numbers — Chateau had a lyrical, literary quality to it that made the writing, as well as the story, shine. So, when I picked up Cubicle, I knew I was in for a treat. Especially when I opened the first few pages and read:
“foothills broke like rows of waves against the horizon. Their undulations were slow and lazy, like motions of a gentle ocean.”
I didn’t expect that kind of evocative writing from a Chick lit book. But Cubicle is exactly what I would expect from Siri – excellent writing, a charming tale. For anyone who has ever blogged about someone, thinking they’d never read it (and NO, I’ve NEVER done that – and don’t go looking in past blogs, either!), you’ll love this story.
I have to admit, I’m not finished yet, (but I will be by this time next week!), but so far, I love Jackie’s voice, her predicaments, the Air Force Academy world, her blogs, and of course, I’ve fallen under the spell of Joe. (As anyone who knows me, I love guys named Joe.).
Check out the reviews, stop by her website and then pick up The Cubicle Next Door. I promise, you’re in for a treat.
