So…for two years I’ve been planning and writing this amazing series. The Montana Marshalls, an epic family series involving one amazing family who sort of end up saving each other and maybe the world. (and falling in love, and learning how much God loves them, and maybe going on fun adventures.) I love my covers, the stories and am thrilled with the reviews for Book #1: KNOX (THANK YOU!)

So, what do I do? Do I listen to my Marketing 101 teachers over at the University of Minnesota? (Wave if you’re a golden gopher!)
Do I listen to my OWN advice about LETTING PEOPLE KNOW YOU HAVE A BOOK OUT?
No. Not a smidgen.

And lest you think that we used prison labor for our remodel, that is my amazing son Noah in the orange prison suit (who is NOT in prison, although probably felt like he was doing hard labor, right?) who came home for 5 weekends in a row from college to help his weary parents with their over-their-head remodel.
(Me thinks we shouldn’t have waited until all the kids left the house to do this. Duh.)
So yeah, we’re remodeling our house. It’s, um, a big project.
(Really, I just put in those pictures at the top to prove that I did some work too. I did. I wore gloves. Safety glasses. Drilled and hammered and used a staple gun. I don’t see Joanna putting up insulation. Just sayin’)

I’m blown away by your kindness. For filling in the gap. But I should have expected it because that’s what friends do. They show up to help you when you’ve got too much on your plate.
