Happy Friday! I wrote 120 pages this week, got my characters through an Alaskan blizzard, dropped a few juicy truthlets, had them meet a few old friends (I love that part—suddenly a character appears that totally makes sense, but we’ve completely forgotten until now), gave them a great kiss, and now brought them to the precipice of danger…
And there they are going to sit until next week. Because it’s Friday. And today is the BIG DAY. This is the day I get my Florida Driver’s License. I will be a…Floridian. For a born and bred Minnesota girl, this is hot stuff (see what I did there?). Hubs has been dreaming of this moment since the days we lived in Siberia. This is better: To celebrate, here is a HOT SALE! Right now, you can get One Last Shot at Baker Book House (print version) for 40% off! And the NEXT books are also 40% off—so this is a great chance to stock up. (The next book in the Air One Rescue series comes out in early June!) Now, for something a little COOLER… Chill Out, Josey, book 2 in the vintage romcom, where Sorta-Susie (Josey) goes to Russia for a crazy adventure, is in KINDLE UNLIMITED. Read it before Get Cozy, Josey comes out May 3rd! Tonight is steak and wine night (we’re having a lovely Cabernet Sauvignon from the Marciano Estate in NAPA. Fun fact: it was started by the man who launched Guess Jeans!) DIY for the weekend…caulking our tile, and I might sneak in a little garage door redo! Pix to come. Have a fantastic weekend, and I hope you read something fantastic! Warmly, P.S. Would you rather dive into a historical romance? Jody Hedlund and her co-author Patti Stockdale just had a beautiful book come out—His Treasured Bride! It’s a little bit Indiana Jones, with a marriage of convenience thrown in! Only $4.99 and in Kindle Unlimited! |
