When we last chatted, I was diving in to catch up on work and writing after abandoning my characters in a blizzard in Alaska to head north and hang with these two cuties.

They just warm my heart. 
I emerged two days later, manuscript finished, to go for a celebratory dinner on the beach with Hubs (at our favorite restaurant – Squid Lips! I know, what a name. But if you’re in the Melbourne Beach area, highly recommended!)

In truth, I’d do anything, drop anything for my sweet family. I am blessed by my amazing children and husband, who make my heart warm even when I spend it in cold imaginary places.
