Hey Friends!
This is not Bubby.
Just wanted you to know.
Because often, I share Bubby pictures.
But…well, this is another of my favorites. Epic #53. (Taken at our last regular season football game last week. #footballmomeraover)
We won, so we’re off to playoffs, but it was sad. No more tailgating. No more freezing in the stands. No more post game pizzas.
A season is over.
But oh, was it fun!
Which brings me to this…“So…how do you feel writing the last of the Montana Rescue series?
I was asked this question this week during one of the many radio & podcast interviews, talking about Wait For Me, book 6 in the Montana Rescue series (released, Nov 6th).
Um. Well.
It’s sort of like knowing that your youngest son is awesome and epic, but that a season is done. Happy. Sad. Wanting to turn back the clock?
I admit, I sometimes look at pictures of the kids, nostalgic for those early days. And then I think…but wow, they turned out awesome!
I’ve been so grateful for the amazing reviews for Wait for Me. Pete is a fabulous character—and he deserves his happy ending.
I know we’re heading into the holiday season. I’m hoping that wherever you are in life—at the beginning of a season, or in the middle of the cheering, or maybe at the end, getting nostalgic—that your memories are epic, sweet and that they nourish you.
Sorta like a good book. Now, excuse me while I bundle up and read the entire Montana Rescue series over again.
Oh, and I have something special for you. I caught this finale video of the post-game huddle with the Bethel Royals. If you like the sound of male voices singing in praise to God, you’ll enjoy this. (watch to the end!)
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, friends.
In His Grace,
Susie May
